When you open the door to your new Cornucopia cabin, you'll look right into Eagle Cap Wilderness, and after a long, relaxing day of riding or fishing or hiking, you'll have a cozy home to return to.

But you'll have no bills to worry about. You'll have no telemarketers interrupting your meal, no blaring radio or television. The only sound you'll hear as darkness settles over the Pine Creek valley is the creek itself.

In fact, we challenge you not to relax. The Cornucopia Lodge and cabins rest on the south side of Eagle Cap Wilderness where you can find honest peace and quiet. The old gold mining town of Cornucopia is empty, and the nearest town with people is sleepy Halfway, population about 400, twelve miles to the south. You'll need hours to reach the noise and congestion and pollution of a city again
--if you want to.
