2018 Anniversary Events

Did you know that 2018 is the anniversary of TWO major events here in Baker County Oregon?  Not only is it the 175th Anniversary of the Oregon Trail, but it's ALSO the 50th Anniversary of the film Paint Your Wagon, staring Clint Eastwood that was filmed right here in our own back yard!!  We're looking forward to celebrating both of these events and are planning some extra fun events. Below are some of the activities being considered, both scheduled and TBD.  Please check back often for updates, and call us to get on the list should you be interested in any of these activities once they're finalized.

confirmed:   Dinner & music night with hank cramer

ONE NIGHT ONLY: August 10th  $40/person

Join us for an evening of music from Paint Your Wagon performed by Hank Cramer while you enjoy an amazing dinner here at the Lodge.

Hank Cramer is one of the best-loved folksingers in the American West. He is widely known for his booming bass voice, smooth picking on a vintage flat-top guitar, and his wry sense of humor. He's more than simply a performer, however. He is a historian and educator who weaves music and history into presentations which bring to life the rich story of America’s westward movement, and give his audiences insight into the “folk process” by which traditional songs evolve and change to describe new events.
