Saddle Club Camp is for the girl who loves horses but may not have a lot of experience with them.   This fun-filled horse camp is perfect for the novice rider as the camp is focused on instruction in both basic and wilderness horseback trail riding skills, while afternoons every day are spent putting your newly learned skills into practice on mountain trails.

But riding is only part of the fun. Campers will also learn how to properly brush, curry, saddle, and unsaddle their horses. Each camper gets to take care of her horse while at Saddle Club Camp. All of our horses have been dude horses for years, and are very gentle!

This once in a lifetime adventure happens at our sturdy, rustic base camp located at Cornucopia, Oregon. The camp has wall tents and wood floors with a hot shower.

Saddle Club Camp starts on Sunday afternoon and ends on Saturday morning.

2017 Price $645 per camper. $25 each discount for more than 2 from same family.

Mission Statement

To provide instruction in western trail riding while learning how to live in the wilderness. We instruct horsemen and women in the “leave no trace” policy when visiting our national forest. We also show horsemen and women the beauty of our wilderness while teaching campers the geology and history of the area.
